Pan Seared Herby Spinach

Ingredients

½ pound spinach

1-2 tablespoons butter or olive oil

2 cloves garlic

1 small onion

Spice Pack (Thyme, Oregano, Tarragon, Rosemary and Basil)

Directions

  1. Mince Garlic and dice Onion

  2. In a large pan, melt butter or warm olive oil over medium heat

  3. add onions and garlic and contents of spice pack and sautee until onions are clear mixing often

  4. Lower heat to medium low, add spinach and cover.

  5. Cook for 1-2 minutes over heat, and then remove from heat.

  6. Salt and Pepper to taste

  7. Serve and Enjoy!

Notes:

You can add any hearty green to this recipe like swiss chard or kale.

I like to serve this as a side dish or to top some fresh white rice with the wilted spinach mixture. It’s SO tasty, quick and easy to make. I hope you all love it too!
