Kohlrabi Chips
Ingredients:
1 Medium/Large Kohlrabi, 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil, 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper, Spice Pack (1/8 tsp Cayenne, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp Maple Sugar Garlic Pepper)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Wash and carefully peel hard outer layer of Kohlrabi (my regular peeler worked great for this) Cut off the bottom root and then cut kohlrabi into quarters. With a mandolin or sharp knife slice kohlrabi into thin slices (the thinner they are the crispier they shall be!) Pat slices dry with a cloth or paper towel. Put kohlrabi slices in a medium bowl and toss with oil, spice pack, salt and pepper. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a single layer of slices on the sheet. Bake for 20-30 minutes flipping the slices halfway through ENJOY!
Notes:
For super crispy chips, make sure to thoroughly dry the kohlrabi before tossing in oil and spices. You can also always cook for a couple extra minutes for even more CRUNCH!
